I’m Aysegul from Turkey. I am about to get my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and I have also been continuing Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy education for more than two years in order to become a cognitive behavioral psychotherapist.

I am particularly interested in understanding how cognitive processes contribute to psychopathologies, and how psychotherapy, especially cognitive psychotherapies, changes the brain.

Here, I will try to gather and share information about firstly, what we know about the cognitive psychotherapies, secondly what we know about the brain regarding psychopathology and psychoterapy, and lastly, how we can use this information to help ourselves, to help our loved ones, and to help people who ask for our help.

On this website, there will be lots of “how to”s, case examples, and exercises.

I would love to hear about your thoughts and ideas! Please share them with me at the comments section of the posts or via the contact page.

In addition, all posts are written in both English and French, neither of which are my mother tongue, so I’m open to language suggestions as well.

Stay connected.

And feel free to write to me.
