I’m Aysegul from Germany. I am a graduate student at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.

I am particularly interested in understanding how mechanisms of gene regulation contribute to psychiatric disorders, and how psychotherapy, in particular cognitive behavioral psychotherapies, affect these mechanisms.

Here, I try to gather and share information about firstly, what we know about the cognitive behavioral psychotherapies, secondly what we know about the brain regarding psychopathology and psychoterapy, and lastly, how we can use this information to help ourselves, to help our loved ones, and to help people who ask for our help.

Posts are written in English and French, neither of which are my mother tongue, so I’m open to language suggestions as well.

Stay connected.

And feel free to write to me.
